I'm not sure if Twitter fail (universal and individual) has increased but I've felt it. I've increased my average tweets per day in 2010 and my dislike for Twitter has grown to a point where I am now considering leaving it. This would be my second departure but unlike my first departure in mid-2008, which was due to lack of interest, this departure would be due to annoyance.
if you leave, i will still email you all of my tweets. i'd hate for you to miss out on that.
ReplyDelete(also, don't go.)
aww don't leave...
ReplyDeletethat's all i've got for now.
I hear ya, John. Haven't been on Twitter much myself due to annoyance and boredom. If you leave, will have yet another reason to do so myself.
ReplyDeleteHowever, be warned: If you vanish without so much as one email follow-up, will hunt you down, dressed up as Elizabeth Bennett, quoting all sorts of Austen.
Hey you,
ReplyDeleteI'm feeling that, too, J. What I do to get out of my twitter funks is find someone new or someone I know who inspires. Look at their list of followers to find someone retweeting them and interacting with others regarding those tweets.
These people are the ones you follow and strike up a conversation w/using a tweet that interests you or instigates more chat.
We met that way. :)
Which is how I know you're aware and know already this but I'm saying it anyway for good measure. And more time here in your cozy learning center, Mr. T.
:)
As you know, new blood is essential in these types of social media outlets. Sharing content and interests, growing and learning is what inspires us day to day and keeps our minds sharp in the real world. The seeking of knowledge and everyday learning shouldn't be neglected or overlooked in our online world.
You're a bright star whose light is helping me find my way. You know how pathetically sad I navigate and how inept I am with which way to turn when their comes a sidewalk, right? You're a friend and a part of me. It would be a shame and a sad day leading to many more if you were to leave Twitter.
Friendships can go on w/o Twitter, but twitter makes it all the more special because of the dynamics of online interaction and communication. Sometimes I get so tuned out and dismayed at the road blocks I encumber because of how I use Twitter but it's only mimicing what I go through in real life as far as what I am willing to share and how much compromise there is.
We are who we are.
I know from your behavior and actions/reactions to instances that you are a true friend. A loyal, inquisitive, intelligent, goodlooking guy who cracks us up w/humor, quick wit, high intellilect and (with me) your large vocabulary I find intriguing in it's unfamiliarity which is more so than anyone else I know. And I know some Ivy League geeks w/big ass vocabs, too. :)
You're a sage. Keep sharing your knowledge, John. We need you and more like you.
Truth.
Always,
Krys
